Winter weather delays opening of lottery office

Due to winter weather conditions, the N.C. Education Lottery will delay the opening of one of its offices on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

The regional office and claim center in Greenville will open at 11 a.m.

The Raleigh headquarters and all other regional offices will operate on a normal schedule.

All lottery drawings will be held as scheduled.

Hi, Michael! At this time, public information laws require that a big winner's name, hometown, game played, and amount won are public info. For winners of $50 million or more, players can choose to remain anonymous for 90 days, after which we would release information in accordance with public info laws.
